I was sitting on the bus the other day and this woman in front of me was wearing a skirt. It was a nice skirt. Very summery. She only forgot one thing... To wear a friggin slip under it. I am surprised I still have my sight. I swear I could tell what colour her underwear was and could do a police drawing of the shape of her thighs. Yep, I know that is gross. Imagine the horror of having to witness it. I guess some creepy guy wouldn't have minded.

This brought to mind another woman in a skirt without a slip incident. Last year when I was at Taste Of The Danforth, this white woman who was walking in front of us was not wearing a slip or underwear. God, the horror! Oh the horror!

I know it's summer and we all want to wear our nice little summer dresses or our thin skirts but for God's sake put a slip under it!!!!! Everything may be fine when you are inside looking in the mirror but when you're outside with the sun shining through the material, you may as well be naked.

Please people, spare me the horror of seeing things I don't want to see and shouldn't have to endure. Pick up a slip and wear it even if you think the material of your skirt is thick enough, still put it on. Please do it for me.

I am trying to cancel my hosting account at Bluefur hosting company and they won't let me. I asked them like a week ago to cancel the account and they still haven't done it.

Bluefur has this automatic renewal system. You HAVE to click it when you get a hosting account with them or else the hosting doesn't go through so I clicked it when I signed up with them about two years ago.

Now I don't want the automatic renewal to go through because I have changed hosts but they aren't cancelling the account. I can't fucking believe it. I have sent them tickets to tell them to cancel, then they asked for my security question which I don't remember since I created the account two years ago BUT I am sending the ticket from inside my account. Why do I need to answer a security question? The only way I can send a ticket is if I am logged in. It doesn't make any sense at all and they are ignoring me.

There is no button to delete or cancel accounts when I am logged in. Why do I have to beg someone to cancel my account? I should be able to delete it anytime I want. I basically can't do anything with my site without sending a ticket. This is ridiculous.

Now, if they automatically renew the account at the end of this month I will have to contact my credit card company and having them reverse the charges. I printed out the ticket information so I can send it to the credit card company if they ask. Its like this friggin Bluefur hosting site is holding my sites hostage or something. What the hell?
If they don't cancel and they charge me for another year, I am contacting the better business bureau and filing a complaint.

I am so sick of bad hosting companies. This is why I basically try a hosting company out for a year and then move on if they suck. Because of this issue with Bluefur I am putting them on my hosting companies that suck list.

I have switched to Netfirms. So far they seem okay, since I have absolute control over every aspect of my sites. I can add domains easily, their support seems pretty good, and I don't have to beg them to cancel my account because there is a button to cancel anytime once I am logged into my account. I am going to try them out for a year and see how it goes.

Anybody can start a hosting company and they aren't always the best so watch out. So far I have tried 3 companies and I am on my fourth.

Things I have learned:
^^Look for 24/7 support (your site won't have problems just mon-fri 9-5)
^^Look for good bandwidth and more than one mysql database (if you plan on hosting more than one site on the account, you will need more than one database
^^Check their cpanel (the place where you add files to your account) it needs to be easy to use.
^^Check that you don't have to ask them every time you want to do something like add extra domains, cancel the account, renew the account etc.
^^Google them and look for complaint forums - when I had an account with StormWeb they removed their forum because people were complaining about what a bad company they were. That was a bad sign. Instead of addressing the problems they just removed the forum.
^^Get recommendations from other people who have sites.

I just read an article on Yahoo about a white woman who had a stroke, went into a coma and when she woke up she spoke Jamaican Patois. What a shocker that must have been for her. The article said she was devastated. I bet she was! The last thing a white person would want is to sound black. hee hee.

The article said, she is one of about 50 cases of people who've awoken from comas speaking with a foreign accent. Talk about bizarre. Are they sure it's really her? How do they know some Jamaican hasn't stolen her body. Did anyone see the movie skeleton key? That woman is long gone or trapped in the body of a dying Jamaican in the Islands.

If I woke up speaking in a foreign accent it wouldn't be so bad. It's only an accent for gosh sakes, it's not like she woke up black. Now THAT would be a shocker!

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in bed. She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front of him.

He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of his coffee.

"What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room.

"Why are you down here at this time of night?"

"Yes, I remember" said the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.

The husband continued.. "Do you remember ! when he shoved the shotgun in my face and said, 'Either you marry my daughter, or I'll send you to jail for 20 years?"

"I remember that too" she replied softly.

He wiped another tear from his cheek and said, "I would have been released today".

L.L. Cool J has a book out called L.L Cool J's Platinum workout. L.L's has a fit and yummy physique. He and his trainer decided to publish a book showing others how to get this hot bod.

Although L.L is hot I question whether that body is all natural. I'm not saying that L.L has had liposuction but I know that many celebs get liposuction on their abs to get that washboard look. I think even if you spent every waking hour doing ab exercises it would be impossible to be that sculpted.

I don't think it's fair when celebs have surgery and then pass their bodies off as the result of diet and exercise. Jamie Lee Curtis came out of this closet years back when she confessed that the body everyone raved about was the result of surgery. Duh! No one is perfect and if a body is perfect, it's most likely a perfect fake!
