Blind people
I never knew blind people could be mean or cantankerous or prejudice. I always thought if someone had a disability, it would make them nice. I don't know why. I guess I thought if someone was disabled, it would make them more sympathetic to others because they knew what it was like to suffer. It seems that being disabled makes some people mean and ugly. Because of their suffering they may take things out on others or carry a huge chip on their shoulders.
Well, just this week I encountered two blind people on the bus. Not together, on different occasions. Actually the first blind person was on the bus, the other was on the subway. The first blind person was a blind woman who got on the bus with her dog. I thought she was quite mean to the poor dog. I had never encountered that before. I always thought blind people would be really loving and appreciative to their dogs. I guess I was wrong. This woman kept jerking the dog by the collar even though the poor dog wasn't doing anything. She kept on telling it to sit up when it lay down. She jerked it up. He put his chin on my knee and she felt where it was and told it in a really mean voice not to do that and jerked it's head around. I swear I have never seen a blind person treat their dog like that. I have only ever hear blind people praise their dog and tell them they were good dogs. I felt like telling this lady off but of course because she was blind, I didn't say anything.
The other blind person I encountered was this man on the subway this morning. He got on the car and had his white stick. He was using the stick to find a seat. No one was moving to give him a seat. They just kept telling him someone was sitting there. Finally, I got up and guided him to my seat. That was fine. Then he asked whether the train was going west or east. Someone said it was going east. I guess it was the wrong way so he got up to get off at the next stop. He stood at the wrong door so people were telling him he was at the wrong door. The door had already opened on the other side, people started coming in and he couldn't get out in time. He missed the stop. Well, he started cussing up a storm and then started talking about all the immigrants etc in toronto. I couldn't believe it. What an asshole. I wished I hadn't given him my seat. Blind people are just as racist as people with sight. It boggles my mind that someone who is blind can still be racist. How retarded.
Some blind people are wormbutts just like sighted people are wormbutts.
