Stormweb Web Hosting Sucks Big Time

You may have all noticed that the site has been down for a long time. Well this is because of that sucky web hosting company Stormweb.ca.

They moved my site from one server to another and the site was not compatible with the new server. Those asses didn't give me any advance notice of the move, at all. I only found out AFTER they had done it. I tried and tried to get the site to work but couldn't. They didn't even apologize, nor did they offer to help get the site working again, nor did they offer any sort of compensation for my troubles.

Their support really sucks. They offer mon-fri 9-5 support. Too bad they sent me the email that they had moved my site at around 4:30 on a Friday. That meant I couldn't contact them until the following Monday. And of course I was at work and couldn't call because their support number is LONG DISTANCE!!!!

I hate those people. Seriously, this is not the first time they have done something like this. They never give notice that they are doing something or that something has gone wrong. They wait till you go to your site and see it's not working, then when you call, they act like they haven't done anything wrong. They don't apologize or anything.

Well, I finally had enough and changed web hosts. Now I'm with monsterhosting.ca. They are so much cheaper, offer more services for the money and offer 24/hr 7 days a week support. So far so good. What a difference.

I cannot recommend Stormweb.ca to anyone. In fact, based on my personal experience with them I would recommend avoiding them.
