Three Days Of Ignorance Part 1

I recently had to spend three days at this white woman's house. I appreciate her putting me up and all but it was three days of having to tolerate her ignorance.

Here's how it started:
Breakfast the next morning.
Her: "So you and I have a lot of things in common."
Me: "Really, what?"
Her: "Well, for one, we both grew up poor."
Me (in shock): "I'm sorry, what?"
Her: "Well, you grew up in the Caribbean, didn't you?"
Me: (wanting to slap her ass, but holding back) "Yes, I come from the Caribbean but I did not grow up poor." (What the fuck?!!!!)
Me: "I came here when I was seven. I actually grew up in Canada."
Her: "Oh"
Me: "And when I was in the Caribbean, my family was not poor. My grandmother owned a shop on the beach, where everyone bought their groceries, candy and ice cream etc."
Her: (sensing tension) "I'm sorry when you said you came from the Caribbean, I just thought oh we have something we can talk about. I grew up in Canada but my family was poor. We lived on a farm and really struggled."
(She still doesn't realize she has continued to make the assumption that everyone in the Caribbean is poor. Stupid Ass!)

All I'm thinking is, why am I always the one who gets these ignorant fuckers? Why?

The next three days are a blast. Not!!!!!
